Software Call Recording Software
Version 1.84
This is the same software that is
used on both the Retell 957PRO and
Retell 957ADV.
This version of the software acts
as either a free 60 day evaluation
version OR as a free upgrade to any
version previous.
To install the update double click
on the 957 icon in the system tray
to bring the 957 software window up,
click on the record tab, and click
on the bottom left button marked "Deactivate"
to stop the software running. There
is no need to uninstall the previous
version (DO NOT GO INTO CONTROL PANEL
ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS), just install
the software that you download into
the same directory. All settings and
recordings will be retained.
If you are downloading this for test
purposes then the best way to do this
is to trial either the 957PRO or 957ADV
for 14 days from us. Or you can make
sound recordings with the software
with a computer microphone or any
other sound source. |

Data Integration Linc
The data integration linc allows you
to control the 957 telephone recording
software from your own software. The
software that you can download from
here is a tutorial showing how to
set up the connection in Access, C++
and VB, along with the necessary dll.
The dll should be installed in the
same directory as the calling program
(eg your database files), not with
the 957 software. Because there have
been extra features added to 957 software
and to the data integration linc,
we suggest that you download the latest
version of both from this page so
that you can make sure that you have
the latest features and compatibility. |

Rebuilder for Retell Call Recording
Software
The database of the 957 software looks
at a file in the same folder as the
recordings called 'telar.dat'.
If you delete this file by mistake
then you cannot play recordings back.
However you can download a free database
rebuild utility that will give you
back some functions (but not the date
and time of each call). |
